My Power collects the following data when you use our website or communicate with us by phone, email, letter or social media platforms:

  • IP Address and content viewed
  • Permissions (for example, we will record if you have consented to marketing)
  • Necessary details required for SEAI to apply for a grant

You directly provide My Power with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online, place an order or enquiry for any of our products or services.
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
  • Use or view our website via your browsers cookies.

3 – How will we use your data?

Our Company collects your data so that we can.

  • Generating proposals and quotations. MyPower Ltd. utilise 3rd party web based software (Open Solar) to design your solar system and generate quotes based on information provided.
  • Process your order, manage your account
  • Assist in availing of government grants.
  • Email you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like.
  • Communications in relation to your order and/or other products or services that we may offer in the future.
  • Statistics and remarketing

4 – How long do we store your data?

My Power may retain your personal information for a period of time that is dependent on the purposes for which we use it and/or as required to comply with applicable laws and to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights. We will retain your data for no longer than is necessary for the purpose in which it was collected.

My Power would like to send you information about our products and services of ours that we think you might like.

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.

We may use third parties to send marketing information from time to time. Marketing may include but not limited to social media news feeds, digital advertisements, search engine result pages or other websites. Your data may be used to profile you with marketing offers that may be relevant to you.

My Power would like to make sure you are fully aware of all your data protection rights. Every user is entitles to the following:

  • The right to rectification – You have the right to request My Power correct any information you believe to be inaccurate. You also have the right to request My Power to complete information you believe to be incomplete.
  • The right to erasure – you have the right to request that My Power erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that My Power restrict the processing of your data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to My Power processing of your personal date, under certain conditions.
  • The right to data portability – You have the right to request that My Power transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
